Chairman

Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman, aged 76, is a senior lawyer still in legal practice. He was a former managing director of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He sits on the board of public listed companies like AsiaEP Holdings Berhad and in a number of large corporations like Bank of America Malaysia. He holds qualifications in administration, management and philosophy from various institutes like Institute of Chartered Transport. He currently is also involved in various charitable organisations.

Secretary

Mr. Saseedharan A/L K.P.B. Menon, aged 58, is a senior practicing lawyer. He was a committee member of the Bar Council for a number of years. He is very involved as a Trustee of the Sri Sakhti Kartaga Dinayagar Temple.

Treasurer

Madam Cecelia De Cruz A/P Sebio De Cruz, aged 62, possesses vast experience in the hire purchase business and as an administrator in credit control. Presently she is involved in the business of direct sales of consumer products.

Board Members

Puan Thalasiah bt. Mohamad Nik, aged 54, is a Board Member who holds a diploma in accountancy. She began work as an audit assistant in a leading local audit firm before joining Kobena as an accounts officer and subsequently KUBB as a Branch Manager.

Mr. Yau Sen Hock, aged 51, is a Board Member of with many years of experience in marketing. He has been an agency manager with Public Mutual Berhad for the past 12 years. Prior to this he was an insurance agent for about 8 years.

Puan Norliza binti Ali, aged 46, is a Board Member with vast experience in the food industry. She has operated her own business for the past 21 years catering food to the public and private sectors.

Chief Executive Officer

En. Abd Hamid Mohd Salleh, aged 54, joined Koperasi Sejati Berhad in March 2006. He obtained a Diploma in Banking Studies from UITM and also attended a Business Administration Degree from Ottawa University. He has had more than 26 years of top level management experience in the Finance and Banking industry. His banking experience covered a broad spectrum, deputizing the CEO of Oriental Finance Berhad, thereafter heading several divisional portfolios at Oriental Bank Berhad such as Head of Commercial and Special Loans, Head of Loan Supervision and Recovery, Head of Branch Operations and Credit Control. His last attachment in banking fraternity was at Eon Bank Berhad supervising Loan Rehabilitation & Recovery and finally Retail Banking.

Head - Finance 

Mr. Mooi Si Kee, aged 56, joined Koperasi Sejati Berhad in January 2006 as the head of finance. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales ( ICAEW ), and holds an MBA degree from Cranfield University, UK. He has 27 years of working experience in various industries such as leasing and hire purchase, manufacturing, stock broking, property development and construction. He has worked with a multi national corporation from US, Sime Darby Berhad, Hong Leong Group of Companies and Peremba Construction Berhad.

Head - Administration

Madam Leong Choy Khun, aged 56, completed her nursing qualification and secretarial course in England. She was a company director with many years of experience in the administration and management of a debt recovery service provider. She is responsible for the corporate and human resource departments.

Senior Manager - Receivables

Ms. Khoo Bee Choo, aged 48, obtained her accountancy degree from Monash University, Melbourne. She is also an associate member of the Australian Society of Accountants. She is responsible for the reporting of the monthly collections from Biro Perkhidmatan Angkasa. Her professional experience includes audit work gained from a medium sized audit firm.
